FFADJL: Update wave #1
Hey all, Mike here again with some cool new updates to make this site even better and more interactive.
Want an easy way to keep track of all your favorite Users on FFADJL? Now you can with our new My Clan system (also called Buddylist in some areas) This works much like the systems on Myspace or Tv.com. You send a request via a users profile page and that user can either accept or deny you as a clan member. Once you are in eachother's clans you'll be able to see eachother's most recent activity and communicate with them more easily. To demonstrate this and to so you can keep track of FFADJL updates I am automatically added to everyone's clans. If you really don't like me you can remove me, I won't mind.
Got a friend who isn't on FFADJL yet? Not a problem, simply invite them via the Invite a Friend section on the left of the Screen. You'll be helping FFADJL grow and you'll even get some Free Leprechaun Gold if they sign up!
Want to reward another user a little extra for good work? Cool! You can now send any user some Leprechaun Gold via The Give Leprechaun Gold link right above "My Account"!
MAJOR BUG DETECTED:
With every new system there are bound to be a few bugs and oversights, most can be fixed behind the scenes without much work from all of you. However some get a little hard to fix.
Because of a coding error, if you signed up at FFADJL and began posting on the forum or dragipedia immediately (did not first post a blog or comment on the mainsite) no gold listing was created for you. This means you have NOT been getting credit for your posts. One easy way to tell if this is you is to check your "My Gold" amount on the left. If it is set at 0 or something lower than you think it should be you are welcome to email support and we will try to remedy this.
The bug, to the best of my knowledge, has been fixed and new users have Gold listings created automatically. ALSO if you have posted a comment or blog on the mainsite, only forum/dragipedia posts made BEFORE your first mainsite post will be affected by this bug, everything after that will surely be in the system.
Shamus is very touchy about his gold, if he thinks you're trying to scam him, you won't get any. This bug ONLY applies to users created before this post.
